Very nice of them - I have a voice module and MF wheel coming - install won't be free though - seems like 3 hrs of labor estimate.

you will need a new airbag if going from round to triangle hub or vice versa. I went from round hub OEM to XPA round hub wheel, so the air bag just swapped out.

Certainly can be done at home. Just be sure to disconnect battery and rest windows when done, Also, do not tighten everything down till you test drive and make sure you are on correct spline for a "straight" wheel.

I did not do the job but I did watch my local mechanic do the swap out. Took about 15 minutes incl, the quick trest drive.
(he had it one spline off on the frist try).

I'm still inclined to let the dealer do it because I have a few other things they need to do including the voice module that also need programming and requires the steering wheel to come off as well for the updated stalk.

Maybe I'll ask them about that harness to make sure - just to avoid going in and having them call me later about the snag.
