backfire problem
hi all,
first off i must say that i'm new to porsche and tryin to learn more about these cars. I purchased a 2007 C2S manual transmission and quite happy with it but for some reason the car is poppin backfires during agressive shifts (nope i'm not hitin the rev-cut). i'm usin 93oct gas with the car. couldnt find any reason why this is happening. took my car to the local porsche service and they reset & reinstalled ecu software but the problem still isnt solved. anyone else had this with their cars ?
thx in advance for the help

Typical symptom of a rich condition off throttle. Numerous possible causes including not enough back pressure or other ehaust flow problems, leaky injector, fouled plugs, exhaust leak before O2 sensor. Egas is more pone to this as there is not a mechanical control to force throttle closing. There are numerous more possible causes including valve problems, fuel pressure, etc, but less likely. MAF signal may be calling for too much fuel at WOT.

ok i'll start by checkin those u listed. i dont think its plugs coz i never had any misfires yet but running rich sounds possible. gotta plug an o2 to see that. are the factory o2 sensors on C2S wideband ?
