North East Road Trip Suggestions
It looks like Friday is going to be a nice day to take the P-Car out for a proper drive in the sunshine here in the North East. I am located North West of Boston and was looking for some suggestions for a nice 3-4+ hour roadtrip in MA/NH or even ME/VT/CT that I can have some fun in my 997 (i.e. high speed, hairpin turns, swooping curves etc etc) with out too much interference
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Nothing specific, but if you head over to the Berkshires and also cruise around Litchfield County, you'll get some wonderful country roads. The whole area between Cornwall and Lime Rock is one of my favorites - of course it might be so because it's my way to get to the track.

01742 is where my folks live but I grew up just outside of Boston. I think if you head out Rte 2 there are some nice roads, even scoot up into Southern NH. Sorry it's been a while since I lived out there, but it gets fairly rural quickly if you head north west.

So went out for a 3+ hour drive - didnt get as far as I wanted but I did discover some interesting roads - some smooth some not so smooth - but really enabled me to stretch the car in the most exciting of ways without "inteference". For anyone interested I have detailed below my trip with some comments:
- the boring part of the journey was getting from Concord to Chelmsford.
- I have put the route into google maps with the link below - I hope you can see it.

- The fun parts were heading to Dunstable and Brookline (NH) where the roads were sometimes not smooth but they more than made up for it in swooping 90 degree turns and deep rises/falls.
In essence you could explore all around that specific area and I am sure you would find even more of these types of roads without seeing much traffic.
I am going to explore Squantum/Jaffrey on my next trip.
Let me know if you try any of these or similar road trips.
