But stock, I would give it to the 997.2, especially if you add the PDK.
Well I can't say anything about the LWFW before I can drive one

I suggest getting one. The extra performance is an excellent way to tap
into the power on that the engine produces, and gets through the revs really well.

The Aasco LWFW is about $800 plus install.

I left my original clutch in, but you can change it to a Sachs Stage 2. I had lots left and I am not going to do forced induction, so I didn't think I need a heavier clutch.

Interesting replies...

but I just can't see how a couple of bolt-ons on a 997.1 can improve quarter mile times by nearly a *full second* over a 997.2:

I don't have the X51, but I have been on the track with a few different x51 cars. I have out accelerated each one. I am giving up 26hp before mods. Add these mods to a 997x51 and I am sure the results will be very positive. I have yet to come across a 997.2 on the track yet, but I am sure that I will similar results.

Ced is infamous around these parts
I understand the 997.2 has a meaty powerband for power and torque curves. It's more than just the numbers - i.e max Hp, but the area under the curve. I want to see a battle!
