Yes, finally got my 997S as well. Feel like it was just in time as the good '06 and '07 inventory seemed to be disappearing. Got a beautiful PP car with full leather, chrono, nav, Bose, and my must have - adaptive sport seats. I had to have the Classic wheels too, even though they would have been easy to find, I'm glad the car had them.
The front spoiler and rockers are TechArt. Didn't quite like the spoiler at first, but it really adds a different dimension to the car and makes it look lower, even though it is at stock ride height.
Just getting used to the different handling from my old E46 M3, but I'm already getting used to how to push the corners. The PASM has a really smooth ride that pleases the family, which is great. The sport mode tends to be a bit stiff, but it's great to flip it on before you hit the on/off ramps or the twisties. Just an incredible car. I'm loving my anti-popular sentiment recession statement. Buy when everyone is selling, sell when everyone is buying. This ain't no BMW!

ryem3,

Congrats on the car. She looks great and the TechArt additions really set her apart. It's been fun reading your posts as you were looking and now your research and patience has really paid off. Enjoy.

Thanks everyone! Larry and others were great in helping the direction and making sure I had a DME scan, etc. Yeah, I wasn't feelin' the TechArt stuff at first, but now I like it, although the spoiler is at least as low as an aerokit and really is a challenge for driveways.
The mod bug will bite, probably after the warranty runs out... In the meantime, I've got to swap out the Bridgestone A/S tires it has and that will be about it. I'll need to do a 20k oil change soon and flush the brakes. Otherwise she runs awesome and doesn't seem to need anything.

Nice new ride Rye.

Congratulations on the purchase, and it isn't a BMW, you will find that every time you start the flat six!
