We will be getting her share first then it's all me.
The only independent variable then is the wife. LOL.
If she's blonde like mine then you & I will definitely get along.

I have imported 2 porsches, 1 motorhome and 1 Jeep. From what I have heard you can forget about importing a Ferrari or Lambo into Canada...the dealers will not give you a recall letter or even service them!! It's their way of protecting their huge profit margins compared to the margins made by U.S dealers. It's actually sickening when you shop out a vehicle in Canada and the U.S and see the huge price differences. I guess it's true....Canadians are suckers and will pay the higher prices
1 rep point coming to you for your help! Thanks again

I just imported my Porsche from Scottsdale to Vancouver this September. At first I wasn't going to consider importing a vehicle because of my perceived hassle factor. But I researched the information which is on the websites noted in this thread- and it couldn't have gone any smoother! Just make a checklist and go through it carefully and it won't be any problem. I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have on the process. Cheers!

Got my Cayenne S from a dealer, my 997S from a private sale. Best place to look is Autotrader.com, you will need to put in a zip code. Use my zip code from my place in Florida 33711 and select any distance

I would check eBay as well. I found both my cars on eBay, although I didn't actually purchase them through eBay. My M5 turned out to be a local sale and the other was on a dealer's lot in Scottsdale.

For the record, not a good idea to drive your car in the winter in Toronto. I have lived here all of my life. I keep my sports cars in a heated garage for the winter. Don't forget that your summer tires do not work at all in cold weather even if there is no snow on the ground! Most of the winter this year you would have been able to drive your car as there was very little snow. Any other questions that you may have about TO just ask me. As well, I have lived in LA for a a few years and have travelled back and forth for over 30. Toronto is still the best place to live so long as you can deal with 4 seasons. People here are way nicer then the fake LA crowd!

I have been to Toronto a couple of times, but not in the severe cold season, I will probably get some 4 season tires on my car when I move

I wouldn't recommend 4 Season Tires.
It might work with conditions that slightly fluctuate.
In Toronto...
You can get extreme heat & extreme cold which will render your rubbers useless in both occasions.
Pick-up a set of Summer designated rubbers / wheels & another set of Winter designated rubbers / wheels.
