I have the techart type III wing and with deck lid and on the left side the deck lid it has warped where the fan is mounted underneath. I was going to replace it but noticed today at champion porsche that the C4s in front of me (for service) had the exact same problem. Have you seen this before? It seem that the material the lid is made of does not withstand the heat being dispersed from tha fan.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks
Howard

That is known warranty issue for the first production run of the 997 rear wing III. The material for the vents was not thick enough to withstand the combined ambient and engine heat in very hot climates. Contact our Miami warehouse to work out a replacement. 1-305-446-7778.

Thanks Mark.
The guys in Miami are going to have it painted and swap it out for me on the 30th or 31st when it comes in. I love that customer service.
