Canada aftermarket warranty situation

Has anyone actually had repairs denied because they had installed an intake or exhaust? The burden is still on Porsche to demonstrate the repair was caused by the aftermarket piece - or is that not the case? Can they categorically say all your drivetrain warranty is void once you do the install?

I'm currently having a problem with PCNA over the warranty of my gauge cluster. My tach sticks and the dealer confirmed it's the actual cluster - something is binding internally. PCNA is stating that due to the fact I had a US Porsche dealer install gauge faces from Cargraphic they will not warranty the cluster. I'm trying to get them to understand that the gauge face install does not impact the internal guts of the cluster, but PCNA claims the cluster was tampered with and it's not longer warranty, even though one of their dealers did the install.

I'm still fighting it!

How long ago was the install? Even PCNA has a warranty for the work they do. Typically 12 months.

The issue isn't with the install of the gauge faces, it's the actual cluster itself. PCNA claims that since the cluster was tampered with using aftermarket parts it will not warranty the cluster. I need to try to get them to understand that the inner workings of the cluster were not opened or touch when the gauge faces were installed.
