HELP! PCM Update for CD Changer (Dension)

I have a 2005 997 with NAV, single CD, and NO CD changer. Before I installed the Dension, when I hit MAIN and TRIP on the PCM, the CD CHANGER was not listed.

I just installed the Dension GW 500 this past weekend and my iPod via Dension works fine through the PCM even though I didn't get the dealer to program the PCM for the CD CHANGER. When I hit MAIN and TRIP buttons on the PCM after the installation, a CD CHANGER was listed, but there was a warning triangle with an exclamation point next to it. As I mentioned the Dension/iPod works fine. I conferred with Eric at Bumperplugs and he said the Dension will eventually stop working if I don't get the PCM programmed for the CD CHANGER. So today I went to the dealer and he charges me $62.50 to program the PCM for the CD CHANGER. However, after the dealer supposedly re-programs the PCM for the CD CHANGER, I still get the warning triangle with the exclamation point for the CD CHANGER when I press the MAIN and TRIP buttons.

Is this normal?
