You can get away with a 12" wheel, as long as they are the right offset.

I would be careful about tire width, going for a wide width may give you too tall of a side wall. I would run a 305/30/19.

Well the OEM GT3 wheels which are 19X8.5 ET 53mm and the rears are 19X12 ET ET68mm. Some of the Champion wheels that are made with 12" rear have a little more aggressive offset at 63mm, hence my original answer. If you want something more safe meet in the middle shall we say 65mm.

Here is your defenitive answer:

with a 12" wheel you can run a max size of 305-30-19 (a 325 would work but they dont make the proper profile for our cars)

the wheel needs to be between 61mm 70mm. anything in that range works.

here is a pic of my 19x12 gt3 wheels, 305 pilot cups and 68mm offset wheels with which i run a 5 mm spacer so a final offset of 63mm.

+1, I am with Ed on this one. I think you can even go up to 315/25/19 on the rear...

no you cant. that tire is way too short. it will look goofy with very little sidewall out back

As I know it when you increase the width of the tire the side/profile increases as well. You don't have to decrease the profile with every cm you add to the with but if you add between 2-3cm to your width you have to decrease the profile number in order to keep it balanced.

OEM Carrera tires are: 265/40/18 which translates to 265/35/19
OEM Carrera S tires are: 295/30/19

So this shows that you need to decrease the profile when you increase the width 2-3cm.

What do you think about that?

I was seriously considering getting those wheels. There are 2 problems:

1- For some reason I have heard that a lot of people had problems with iForged... There were couple of threads on the forum that the wheels were making noises and shaking... I talked to Dan from Vividracing and my dealership, they both said that it was poor quality.

2- If you really carefully check the pictures of the TE14 on the GT3 you will see that the holes are really close to the edge of the center... I don't know if it would be safe... I am attaching a picture for you to see what I mean.
