ET40 Offset on 19x8.5 wheel upfront too aggressive?
Looking at some wheels that have a verrrry aggressive offset upfront and I don't know if they'll fit my narrow-body 997.
Currently running 19x8, ET57 stock lobster forks, looking at going to 19x8.5 ET40... using wheel enhancement's wheel offset calculator, it looks like this will result in the wheels being 23MM further out, and without help, I don't know if this will result in the wheels stick out past the fender.
Thoughts?
(thanks in advance)

Man. That's what I figured... LOL. Ok, the search continues....
I need a pair of 19x8.5 Techart Formula (Silver) wheels in 997 NB fitment (I think Techart has ET40 and ET48, and ET48 will look right) if anyone has a good source for these at a decent price, PM me. Used is mint condition is ok too.
Yes, I know the wheels are heavy.

I run CCW 9" front with 50 offset and 12" rear with 69 offset.
The key to make these fit is negative camber. You need at least -1 deg front and -2 deg rear to tuck the wheels in properly and prevent tire/fender interference.
I calculated that your 8.5" with 40 offset would project 3.65mm more than my 9" CCW's. So if you can get around -1.5 deg negative camber, you should be fine.

I run the 57 mm offset OEM wheels with a 7 mm spacer, so it is like running a 50 mm. I think that you could probably get away with another 5 mm, but you might end up rubbing. The 50 is safe, any thing more may not be.
