Reflashing ECU

Reflashing ECU
I have a none S 997. I do not have "sports mode". Will a software reflash give me the improvement in the throttle response that you get with the "sports chrono" option. ie, a quicker throttle response. Also, any recommendation on which software product to consider.

Sorry I don't have a ECU flash on my car. Do a search as there are many who use the Softronic product.
