Old question
I did a search and couldnt find answers to a post I had made sometime ago regarding the same question.
Planning to have a second set of wheels for the track. These will be 18" Volks I am getting secondhand.
What tires would work with those among R comps?
Looking at PSC 235/40ZR18 and 265/35ZR18 will keep the balance of the stock setup. But wouldnt the 265 be a bit small for the 11 inch rears?
What makes and sizes work best, with respect to the Volks?

Look at both Nitto and Toyo (google them). The web sites have tire sizes and recommended rim sizes. Nitto is the NT-01 in the competition section of their site; Toyo is the R1A I think, or the R888. I'm using NT-01 on my '07 C2S on factory 18 inch wheels. I think these are smallish, but they work well enough until I decide which wheels I want in wider sizes. I'm on 235/40ZR18 front and 275/40ZR18 rear now.
From the website data you might get enough info to apply to your PSCs or maybe there is something on either TireRack or Michelin web sites.

I have Volk TE37 TA 18x9 and 18x11 with 245/40/18 and 315/30/18. 265/35/18 is too narrow IMO.
You can get Toyo 888, Yokohama 048, MPSC, and a few others will all work well. I am running Hoosiers now, but I wouldn't recommend them for the street.
