+1

I took mine in thinking it was an issue and was told the same thing. He basically said it is not a mechanical noise and its the high pressure injectors. I was there for another reason and mentioned it to them at the same time.

The car sounds like a little like a diesel on start up - not a pretty sound coming from the DFI. Everything smooths out at operating temperature

I have the exact same thing. 1/2 hesitation in the morning or when engine real cold after being parked for long time.
Had it to dealer, they kept it several days and compared it to 2 other cars with same engine and same year and ran it by Porsche NA help tech line or whatever it is called.
Exactly due to the "overrun-richness" of DFI engines.
Resolves within 30-60 seconds and runs like a devil.
No fault codes, no errors, no check engine lights

Hi

I have the exact same thing.
The main hesitation in the morning. Around 2000RPM.

No fault codes, no errors, no check engine lights

My car: 911 997.1 2005 tiptronic s carrera s (Chrono Sport) 150KM.

This happens mainly in Gear #2.

It does not matter if I'm in D or M mode or "Sport mode"...

My mechanic also told me it looked normal. These engines "like" high rpm ..

Did anyone find a solution to it or leave it?
It's a little annoying traffic jams ..
