So Disappointed, what's wrong with PORSCHE???

Porsche was a victim of the world financial crisis. If you followed the stories of them buying VW stock and how much money they made (on paper) it was amazing. The Porsche name and logo is one of the most valuable in the world and they demand top dollar for the usage of the logo and other trademarks.
Here is an article that talks about Brand Value, I suggest reading the PDF link.

Porsche will not even allow this website, 6speedonline.com to even put a Porsche on the main page for the Porsche section.....I am not surprised about the Grand Turismo game deal.
I am probably different than everyone on this forum, I am not a die hard Porsche fan....could really care less, The only Porsche car I am comfortable in is the 997 version so if it got smaller or changed I would move to another sports car and not even look back. Although I have owned 5 Porsche's in the last 8 years and currently have a 09 Carrera S I would be just as happy with a Ferrari and so forth.

Porsche has never been in Gran Tourismo games. They always use RUF.
Besides Porsche is a sponsor for Forza 3 on Xbox. They even created a new steering wheel modeled after the Porsche Steering wheel. With a grear shifter and a clutch pedal. (Might also be for PS3)

Ruf is consider a Manufacturer themselves, not just a tuner. They may use Porsche "cores" but do issue there own VIN numbers on a lot of there cars.
