So Disappointed, what's wrong with PORSCHE???
Who here is looking forward to to the next Gran Turismo on the Playstation 3? It's arguably the best driving simulator / game in the market. All car makers including Lamborghini, Bugatti, Aston Martin, and Ferrari have granted Gran Turismo the licensing to use their vehicles in the game, which was just announced recently. Porsche allowed licensing with Forza for the X-Box, so what's the deal with Gran Turismo 5?
I'm so disappointed in Porsche. Not that it's going to really change anyone's life or Porsche's reputation overall, but come on...it's a game. Is Porsche afraid that Gran Turismo will underperform their cars in the game compared to the other cars?
Is there anyway to petition Porsche to consider licensing their name in Gran Turismo 5?
What an embarrassment on Porsche's side

Yeah, I'm sure they will. That's how GT got around it the last time. But the question still remains...
What does Porsche have to hide?

I prefer Forza as well. But refusing to license is just silly, like it or not those games are good marketing....

Well they did show up as RUF's in some of the other GT's but I get what you are saying. I am imagine Porsche was offered a spot in the game not sure what kinds of deals car makers make with game makers to be in the games.

Don't worry. Once VW's takeover is completed they'll grant PD the rights to render Porsche cars in the game . You already own 2 Porsche's and I don't think you want to wait till 2020 when GT6 is released .

It's actually scheduled to come out late 2009. Sadly, without Porsche once again. What do they have against Sony? They licensed X-Box?
