hunter green vs black
i'm looking at a new 08 c2 cab that's hunter green with beige interior. I have not seen a lot of grren 911s on this sight. What are your thoughts on hunter green vs going with standard black/beige interior.
Thanks

I think green with beige interior is a great combo, and is very classy.

Great color combo. Probably the best interior color to go with Hunter Green exterior. Resale may be either lower and/or may take more time to sell, but as others here have said, buy the color that you want and enjoy the car and deal with resale later.

I have a friend who has a 996 in green with light brown interior... car looks great, especially in the sun. Do agree that resale could be tough.

Very tough resale. If it is a lease pick whatever your heart desires. If it is a purchase you will have a harder time selling it. Smaller marker of buys compared to the buyers of silver, gray and black.

I thought about Green/Beige - very classic look - but the wife said "no way" and it was a touchy sell with her anyway - didn't need any extra friction, so I fell back to Black - which I do love, so it was the right thing for me anyway.
Still, I like the green - but I have not seen too many 911s I didn't like - it is a robust body style that doesn't really depend on a color to look great, unlike many other car body styles.
There's a Racing Green on the Techart Gallery that is really nice: http://www.techart.de/en/techart-world/gallery.html - look in the 997s...
But that's a coupe - for a Cab, I don't think I care for green as much...

well...who knew White would be a "GT3 color". 5 years ago, no one buying a Porsche would ever consider white...and now, that's probably one of the most sought after colors.
Do what your heart desires, and worry about the resale value later when you cross that bridge.

thanks all for the input. i did end up going with the grn/beige...I do like the combo and there are not a lot of them around. i also like the blk/beige. what helped influence the color was the deal the dealer made on the 08 grn and my trade in..

Congrats, Enjoy, Post up some pics!! I myself have never and will never purchse a car based on how easy it will be to get rid of later on! In essence you are buying it based on what the next owner likes!
Ridiculous thought! That shade of green over beige is very classy!
