R888 + R6/R8 + Falken +sport cups for autoX

Im looking to put some new tires on my stock wheels SPECIFICALLY for DE and/or AutoX days. I have a new set of 19's that I would be running everyday and want to swap them when I get to the track for some track specific tires. What do you guys recommend?

In my opinion, using the nice tires for AX is a waste, save them for the track. They will last longer at the track and be of better use.

If you are doing AX, then use the cheapest tire you can get.

For the track I'm still using PS2's, but I heard R888 & NT01 are the best bang for the buck.

I had R888's on my Lotus, best tires Ive ever had on the street or the track....of course on a 1950lbs car they do last longer I'm sure.

How long would a set of R888's last on a C2S if I'm driving the car 5-8k miles a year?

R888's....but if you are just 1st starting out at the track I highly suggest you stay with street tires until you go solo.
