You guys have room for one more? Another new owner!
Hi folks,
Just introducing myself and my car. I, like so many others, have been using this website as a source for all things Porsche. I've learned quite a bit from you guys in a short period of time (Uh huh, I STFA) and I can tell there's a lot on offer here.
I'm coming from Audi ('02 A4 1.8T, '06 S4 STaSIS mods a-plenty) and will miss all that those cars offer. However, it seems that Audi's tend to be a gateway drug for the Porsche brand as so many of us Audi fans end up owning a 911 of some sort!
I picked up an '09 C2 this past weekend at a great price ($600 below invoice!) and feel it's the right 997 to get me started. It's Meteor, 6 speed, PASM, some carbon fiber bits, some tech gadgets that help the daily drive and a ton of fun! It's, of course, bone stock and will be that way for a while. I need to get to know the car on the street and track before I decided what to do. As far as pics go, I hope you guys love your pics low-res and out of focus.
When my schedule calms down I'll take and post some proper beauty shots.
I'll head over to the Regional Forums and post there, as well. Any Norcal'ers here? Near Sacramento?
I look forward to goings-on 'round here.

I cannot believe how many new Porsche owners there are in just the last few months. I was one of them (although I picked mine up used) I guess the economy helped a lot of people get into these cars with such great pricing! Welcome.

It's great to see another new owner in the Roseville Area. I'm in Roseville also and you'll probably see me driving around in my 09 white C4S. I'm the only one in the area. Give me a honk or a wave. Maybe we can meet up at the EuroSunday events?

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I had a bit of an...
...account activation issue so I couldn't repsond until now. Here are some better pics with the first mod complete. Cleared the side markers! Definitely cleans up the look. Next some tint, clear bra and then...?
