Cool Carbon fiber interiors

Hi everyone, im new here and recently picked up my C2

CARBON FIBER INTERIORS

I have a White with Black Leather Interior PDK 2009 997 C2 Coupe for couple of days now, and I'm interested of swapping out some parts of the interior for some carbon fiber ones. and maybe painting some to exterior color. Any suggestions of which should look good painted and which should be carbon?

Has anyone heard of DB CARBON or have dealt with them before?

http://www.db-carbon-interior.com/

or any other carbon fiber companies

and if they ship internationally

Is the carbon weave exactly like Porsches Original?

What should i look out for ..etc

My car will be located in Taiwan. (LEFT HAND DRIVE)

Please let me know your suggestion

ThankS!

OEM - But you must have a black PCM otherwise the center stack gives an incomplete look (my opinion) . If the PCM is aluminum I would not take it out to change it and that might scratch the carbon idea . OEM will fit , is great quality, and will last . It's expensive though .

I've had great experiences with Daniel at DB Carbon. Everything I've ordered has been excellent quality and the carbon weave matches OEM exactly. Here are iphone pics of a some items that I have yet to install. The first two are DB Carbon and the shift **** is OEM. Hope this helps.

Realized I should do a comparo in the same picture because of lighting inconsistencies between pics.

Shift **** is OEM and door handle is DB Carbon.

THank you for the quick and detailed reply! pictures are excellent.
did you ask your local porsche dealer to install the pieces?

so ordering from the DB carbon website should be easy? or should i phone them?..Since i will be doing an international order.

Was your parts for 997.1 or 997.2 ?

on the website , there seems to be 997.1 packages....
but not for 997.2

thanks again for the infos

Those pieces look awesome, Ray!

jo2e6y, I will be installing the pieces myself. Also, Joel said it, DB ships internationally and you can order right off the web site. You actually get additional savings if you use the web site... I think it says "shopping cart discount" or something like that. My parts were for 997.1. Definitely contact them if you have concerns about 997.2 fitment.

Thanks! It's off the 997 turbo, part # 997.424.075.53 FPR. Suncoast link: http://e-partssales.com/miva/merchan...Code=9976speed

Only thing is mine has a sand beige boot and I bought a TechArt **** too that already has an alcantara boot (which I want). So it might make sense to just sell the turbo ****... I dunno, I really like that it has carbon on it. Decisions... lol.

Yes, that's one of the only drawbacks of ordering from them. If you are concerned you can always email Daniel to confirm that the piece is what you think it is. You can even send him a picture of the part you want and he will tell you where to find it on his site.
