Mick,

It's not. Check Rennlist. There's a discussion thread under the 997 Classic Sports title where Edgy (Forum member) mentioned about this.

That's a nice 356 replica. Fuchs would look great on a car like that!

OP sorry for the thread jack as well.

Pmon is infamous around these parts
So I am new on here to and have an 06 C4 and was thinking of a GT3 front bumper, my preferred place to buy is suncoast particularly if they put them on a deal price again. I was wondering if anyone has seen the 2010 GT3 bumpers up for sale yet ? and whether they would fit the 06 - would be kind of cool to have the LED lights etc. There is one place on ebay selling them, but I don't think they are OEM.

Thanks all of you. GT3 front looks really cool. I did like the old GT3 style as well. Should I go for only OEM bumper from porsche or a third party company is also good. There is a pretty good price difference.

I don't think I've ever seen a GT3 bumper on someone's car and not liked it.

That being said, I got Vorsteiner. Because I'm exotic like that. j/k Sorry that I can't post pics for you, but the bumpers are still at paint (going on 2 weeks now).

The newer GT3 bumper would be around $4400., other hardware may still be needed. For 2005-08 cars, you would also need the additional LED front bumper lights and have to figure out the wiring. I'm hoping the 2010 Aerokit will be a bit more reasonable.

997.1 GT3 all the way. the .2 costs too much, not designed for your car so will have to hack into the wiring, and to me looks less aggressive and softer.

go with a factory bumper. there is very little price difference and a lot of quality difference

Thanks

I know that rrustagi originated this thread, but was really useful to hear what others thought and have put on their cars, great pictures too - thanks for the help. Suncoastric - I will keep watching out for the GT3 997.1 bumper prices from you guys, the .2 is definately going to be too spendy for me.

The aerokit bumper is still the best deal, $1295. plus shipping. If you want the GT3 look, you can paint the lower spoiler/valance flat black, and custom install the upper air grille (an additional $29.95). If you're interested, let me know.

I saw the aerokit on suncoastparts.com, pretty good deal.

BTW: is mounting the rear wing necessary, as underneath the listing on suncoastparts, it says, Porsche does not recommend installing this bumper without adding a rear spoiler.... I see from the pics posted that most have put the rear wing, but some have not..... I personally donot want to put the rear wing, as that would be another 2K.
