Question Lauch control on 997 C4S? Best off the line take off?

Hey guys,

I have a manual 997 C4S, I wanted to know what is the best way to take off from stand point. What is the optimal rpm? Do you let go of the cluth quickly? This is my first manual Porsche

Thanks

Not dumb, a bit odd may be. For quick start raise rpms to area of 2.5K, release clutch then pretty fast but do not just drop it and do not ride it for sure.
Same as never just floor accelerator with a kick - push it fast and firm enough but smooth, and release clutch also quick and smoothly.

yeah, i never 'dump' the clutch. I engage the clutch with minimal RPMs and get my kicks from hitting the gas once clutch is fully engaged. Works for me at least
