I drive with the PASM on sport over 60 mph, then it provides great control. Below 30 mph on any uneven pavement and the thing is brutally stiff. I think it is virtually unusable at slow speeds, almost like a racecar suspension. Don't know if others find the same thing.
I am sure that PCNA and Porsche will never admit it, but one would think that your on the right track.

I have a set of Bilstein CO's, and find the the ride is nicer in Normal mode then the OEM system, in Sport mode it is great on the track.

Had coilovers with 500lb springs on my E46 M3 (spring rate not comparable here of course, but just for reference) and Koni adjustable shocks. Shocks were pretty close to full soft. Ride was nowhere near as hard as PASM on sport at low speeds.

+1 on the Eibachs. The 997S just seems a bit too "floaty" with the stock springs.

Seems like not to many people use the KW setups...is it because of the price tag??

The ride for me is stiff enough in the crappy streets of SF not in sport mode on the stock suspension.

WHat was the price quote? Is it more expensive than the Damptronics?

i think top of tire even with bottom of fender is max drop.. anything more is silly.. even with it "even" as i stated your worse than stock handling because of the suspension geometry if u wanna be as low as a cup car, u need all the other suspension parts as well.

Bilstein is a OE manufacturer which gives them a great rep. They are also the only company that I know of that offers a CO that will work with the PASM setup and gives you the ability to still use the PASM sport button. KW has PASM compatible CO's but they need to be adjusted at the actual shock. TEIN has EDFC which is a lot like the Bilstein Damptronics but I am not sure if there are applications for Porsche in the TEIN lineup?
