Best mufflers to pair with AWE cats?
What do you guys believe are the best mufflers to pair with my AWE cats? Currently running AH pipes, and the combo is a bit much. I like it loud, but this is ridiculous. AWE mufflers are likley not enough.
Again, what's the best combo with the AWE cats, based on experience?

Not to mention to highjack this, but just was curious -
after you got Sachs Stage2 Hi-Performance Clutch installed - does it feel much more firm/difficult to depress than a stock one or is it quite comparable to it? Stage 3 I tried on event is way harder than stock. But I did not see yet how Stage 2 is placed on firmness scale.

Tom I had this setup on my car before the Borlas. I like the way the AWEs sound just to tame above 4k rpm. For someone who wants a more aggressive tone you will want to look elsewhere. The AWEs have a nice song to them..that's how I like to put it..more of a good overall tonal quality, civil. If you want a little more bad boy image and raunchiness toward a Cup car sound I would look elsewhre. Now I know I may be the minority here as a lot of people don't want this kind of sound, but for someone who just came out of an Afterhour setup..he's going to think the car is OEM again moving into a set of AWEs.
Im not hating on AWE, have thier cats and their customer service is outstanding, just when it comes to their mufflers I thought they were to tame. I thought the Fabspeeds with the 200cpi cats were more aggressive than the AWE. I like the Tubis but with the cats they are a little to raspy. The Borlas are a little raspy as well near the top of the tach when under WOT, but then so is a cup car.

^^ I agree. It's just hard sometimes to make a suggestion without really knowing what a person's expectation is from the sound.
If the AWE is too tame, maybe a Cargraphic or Tubi setup will work.

Not to mention Cattman just came out of one of the louder setups you can get. I heard the AHs with the stock cats and I knew that if I did this setup with the 200cpi cats I would get pulled over again for excessive noise. The Borlas now are borderline, when I see a policeman I just cruise by with my foot barely on the gas..soon as you dip into the throttle..everyone turns their head.

Nice setup Ken, I am kind of bias towards this one.
