Carrera 1/4 Mile Video Comparison

Came across this on YouTube. I apologize if it's a repost, but I thought it was rather interesting - particularly the last run of the C4S vs the C2S. I can't understand a thing they're saying, but if you pay attention, you can make out which car is which.

Yeah I remember these series of videos. Lots of interesting stuff in these. There was one they did between a C2 and C2S on a road course and the driver chose the C2 over the C2S, go figure. I think they did a weird indoor race between a C2S and C4S as well... dont remember the outcome.

As for a straight line drag race. Between the C2S and C4S we are talking about two cars that are about .1 second apart in performance to 60. The C4S gets off the line faster but the C2S is over 150lbs lighter. Porsche gives the nod to the C2S with their published numbers but in reality in this sort of race it comes down to the driver and conditions. Having done a lot of drag racing myself, there are a lot of variables.

Watched it already and it's a fine video

There was also a course race and the C4S won by a good margin

I would like to download or buy this complete DVD of Best Motoring, as they usually test the cars also on the street, comment about them, etc., but it seems the DVD is still not for sale

Or am I wrong ?

They did, this is a series in Japan I guess. I have seen the ones for the 997.1 as well. Wish I still had the link.

H8rade is infamous around these partsH8rade is infamous around these parts
That was exactly the type of comparison I'm looking for, but I'm looking for the older 997.1 S since I'm not baller enough to buy the new ones.
