Wing for 997 targa?

Hey guys, I've run a few searches, but I was wondering if anyone has a definitive answer as to whether there are any "targa friendly" rear wings out there, and if so, which ones/manufacturers. Is it safe to assume a wing that would work on a 997 cab would also work for a 997 targa?

My dad has an 07 997 C4S targa, and he'd like to know what wing options are out there. Thanks, Scott.

rkuo is infamous around these parts
Can't really answer your question directly. I don't think Targa's are the target market for wings. Targa's compromise a little bit on pure performance for the nice roof and AWD ... putting a spoiler on could give the impression that you're schizo about what you want the car for.

I agree that targa's aren't the target market, but disagree its because of the type of buyer that is attracted to targas. Rather, I think its more a result of their scarcity, and thus, the size of the market. If it were otherwise, you wouldn't see wings manufactured for cabs, which in my opinion is even a greater compromise in terms of performance (in fact, that is why my Dad chose a targa...many of the benefits of a cab, but just a little more hardcore).

I don't think there is any difference between the Targa and a Carerra/Cab engine cover, so I'd expect the same parts to fit. That said, only the TT spoiler/wing seems to look right, and that requires more significant rework to ensure the air-inflow is ducted correctly to the engine intakes.
