No more 1 touch sunroof closing

Am I the only one whose pissed at the loss of this function for 09?
Very disappointed at the loss of this common function, present on all previous cars and still present on most new other manufacturers models!

I was quite surprised also to discover that central round button does not close sunroof but opens it instead. I would not say it is a deal breaker, just an oddity.

Must be a US problem - other posters from other countries don't have this issue.

John

Evolution of humans is being slowly ground to a halt by public safety regs.

Actually, I never use the sunroof in any of my cars.

At least our NAV doesn't lock out like the Lexus Oops, maybe that will be next on the chopping block.

Well, if its available on cars outside the US, that means it can be enabled... just not officially by Porsche... so its just a matter of figuring out how to make it work.

Sorta like the one-touch up on the passengers window only working if the window is 1/2 way up or more.... there's a work-around for that... just need to find it... probably a position sensor in the passengers door window assembly one could fake out.

Yeah - I was wondering about that. My 40th anniversary has it and my 2009 C2S doesnt. Odd.

Hi Guys - Steve is right. Australian delivered cars still have it. There was a thread on it a couple of months ago.

But we had a rental Benz GLK last weekend in NYC which had it as well so not all new US delivered cars have "lost it".

I bet that GLK was not '09.

Could well be - it had 8000 miles on it which seems high for a rental.
