I tried to do a search without much luck. I was originally looking for a new set of wheels in the same size as my stock 19's, but the more I look at the 20's the more I like them. This is my first all wheel drive car and I thought I read somewhere that the wrong size wheels can do something to the all wheel drive system.

My questions are 1) is it true the wrong size wheels can damage the all wheel drive 2) what size/offset do I need if I'm going with 20's. Please indicate offset and tire size also. Thanks to everyone for their help.

 

if your set on 20's, you can do a 20x8.5 and 20x12 with 325-25-20 rear tires and 235 30 20 fronts.

as long as you keep the outer diameter of the tire to within 3% of factory,you will be alright.

offsets on the above will be +53mm front and +50mm rear
