Secrets?

There are some tricks to
- setting the passenger mirror tilt in reverse (this can be customized), but the manual doesn't give the correct instructions. The settings will not persist unless you set it, exit and lock the car and leave it locked for a few minutes.
- setting the garage door openers - the manual is correct and if you do not do it as instructed, it can be vexing. DRLs must be disabled and various other stunts.
- PDK - if you have PDK, it is not well understood. There's a Technical Doc that goes into better detail than the manual - because with SC it can operate in six modes, learning the subtleties (or not so subtle in S+) takes time. Normal Auto is often maligned because people apparently poke along and expect the car to do something about it - give it some throttle and it will jump to attention. There are many PDK tricks/secrets outlined in that Tech bulletin.
- Sunroof - opens only about 90% on one touch. This is by design to reduce noise.
- there's a tool to pull a stuck key out of the ignition - it is located in the fuse panel cover. It can also, according to my service guy, be used to remove a stuck CD.
- the "frunk" release is not fully mechanical - this has implications for a dead battery - read up.
- the rear seats are held in with Velcro - in case you need some more space or just don't plan to use them.
- driving with the "long" portion of the cup holder cover down is not stylish.
- passenger window will one-touch close once past half-way up.
- there's an empty fuse slot - C1 for RWD and C5 for AWD - that can be used with a fuse tap to install switched devices like a radar detector.
OK, I'm out.

Only way to figure correct sequence was to go to some web site, I found detailed instructions there. After reading those instruction in manual suddenly made some sense as well.
