Ryan, What about 997.2 true GT3 front version? When will it available - and on your website? Thanks

Is there an advantage to the GT3 bumper vs. the Aerokit bumper?

Sorry to dig the old thread out, but I have one question concerning the Aerofront bumper.

I saw on several pages, that you can buy a additional front lip to the Aerokit. I think with this front lip is the yellow marked part ment(see pic).

My plan is only to change the front bumper to Aerokit, but with this additional Frontlip will destroy the whole "line" of the car and I would need side skirts and so on to make it fit again.

So my question is, if this bumper comes always with this lip and if yes if you can remove it?

Pictures is from suncoast.

The second question is, if the marked part of the picture shown below is only available for the GT3 Bumper?

Pictures is from suncoast.

I hope you can help me. Perhaps somebody has a alternative for this normal Aero bumper, which is not too aggressive and pricey

Really?

Anyway, that frontlip is removable.
And that air vent is only for GT3/GT3RS bumper. Since you don't have
a 3rd radiator on your 997 2/2S and 4/4S, you don't need that cooling vent.

I just recently installed the GT3RS front bumper on my 997S and it made a HUGE improvement...I love the way the car looks now. the lower lip does not ruin the lines of the car, it actually makes it look better!! Buy the RS bumper with the hood grills, it's worth the extra money!!

The lower splitter can be removed, but the bumper is not designed to run without it. I don't believe it's presence will interfere with the look of the car (I have the GT3 bumper and though the splitter is black and thus slightly different from the Aero, it does not conflict with the lines. In fact, I think it looks great). From an aero perspective, though not a big deal, I don't think omitting the lower splitter is a good idea.
Re the center top vent of the GT3 bumper, unless you have a third/center radiator, it is 'ornamental'.
I won't try to advocate the virtue of adding a center radiator while the bumper is off - any more

Yeah - your points make sense. I think it is not too bad with the lower lip. And anyway there is a reason why the designed it that way.

My to buy list grows . I think the Aerobumper/GT3-Bumper with Carbon lip looks hot.

Lets see what my pocket allows me to buy
