Do you winter drive your car?

Do you winter drive your car?
It seems between myself an my friends, I'm the only one who drives my car in the winter in these northern climates.
I have my ritual of getting out my Alcantara shifter, my Weathertech mats and putting on winters llate Oct early Nov, and everyone thinks I'm crazy
I did this with my 996 C4, 997 C2S and for the past 3 years with my 997 C4S
But this week alone i've had at least a dozen people say "you drive that thing in the winter"
Am i the only one?

Yesterday. Empty parking lot. Snow. Miss driving on that? Are you kidding??
Watching the front tire rooster-tails while cornering is a hoot.
And be sure to try it with and without PSM. Amazing.
Now, would I want to be on the road with the general public...and 18-wheelers...not really

ABSOLUTELY!!
Living in central MN, "winter" is at least 4 months long. This year it may be 6. I drove my 996 C4 all winter and intend to drive my 997.2 C4S as well. As long as the snow is 3-4 inches or less - AND - you have winter tires, 911s are fantastic winter drivers. With PSM off - FUN!

No.....Unfortunately they use too much salt up here. I've looked at a few cars that have been winter driven, and they all had quite a bit of rust after a few years. I just like to keep my P cars as pristine as possible....
Although I'm looking for a used Cayenne S to drive this winter!!

i will drive as long as there is no snow, or salt on the ground, that will tear your car up, and i also recommend getting a clear bra, so you don't chip up your front bumper in the winter.

I'm always surprised how different the ride feels with a)18's & b)softer winter rubber
i did get my hood, lights and full bumper 3M'd when i bought this car, makes a huge difference, especially in the winter with all the road dirt etc...
I'm happy to see i'm not the only one winter driving my cars.
I wonder if any of the tracks are open in winter
