997.2 GT3/Aero bumper and rear wing

So currently there's the 997.1 GT3 style aero add-on (and aftermarket) for the 997S. Does anyone know if there will be a 997.2 aero add-on (either OEM or aftermarket) and will it fit the 997.1S?

Would love to do a front bumper and rear wing from a 997.2 GT3 to an S (when I get one)

Since the 997.1 & 887.2 share the same body panels... everything should fit.

Expect the 997.2 GT3 aero parts to be crazy expensive for the next year or so.

That's good to know. I plan on picking up a 997 next year, so hopefully prices will fall or an aftermarket variant will be out by then.

acually looking into doing the front gt3 bumper for my 997.2 ... its $4000+ without the lip and grills ... a lot more than they used to be for the 997.1s

the early photos of the tequipment aero make it seem like the wing is the same as the prior aero/gt3 wing as opposed to the new 997.2 gt3 wing

Like others have said, buying .2 GT3 Aero bits is going to be an expensive venture. Possible that we are only seeing initial pricing but I imagine a full conversion (front bumper and rear wing) is going to be close to 11 or 12K just for the parts....

Not much reason to do this as only the front bumper looks substantially different than the proper Aerokit for the 997.1 car anyways and you won't have to worry about any differences in air intake configurations (if any) as the 997.2 has a dual intake and the 997.1 has only one intake except on an X51 motor. IMHO.

Do you happen to know the average price on 997.1 GT3 Aero conversion from Porsche? I love the way your car looks and if I decide to go the C2S route next, its exactly what I would like to do. Thanks in advance!

There are aftermarket alternatives as well. Misha looks to be a nice kit. Suncoast, who is a sponsor lists the kit at $5k for OEM.

Thanks! I think I would want to stick with OEM aero.

On a side note, I would want to get the rear gt3 bumper with the center exit exhaust but isnt the gt3 rear bumper wider than a c2s? What exhaust would be recommended for the center exit conversion?

GT3 is still a narrow body, while the GT3 RS is a wide body. Regardless, I assume they still use the same bumper, the difference is only 22mm and the bumper is flexible. There are some tuners that offer a center exit exhaust conversion, GMG is one of them.

If you want to do a centerexit setup on your 997.1 and add the 997.2 rear GT3 bumper and LED tails, shoot me a pm. I can advise you of the solution

I wanted this front bumper. The one listed above looks like the one I have on the car now.
