997.2 PSE and X-pipe ?

Would be curious how you think the XPipe added to PSE sounds, because I never had just PSE alone and went from Stock.....to Stock with XPipe....to PSE with XPipe (on/off).

It is processing inside of YouTube now.
I do notice that the PSE w/Xpipe has a lower sound to start with even in the PSE off position. When driving it has a great sound. (The revs from a stand-still give you a taste of what it sounds like not even under load.......)
I'll post the link when it is done.

Shot with my wifes little Sony TX1 camera. (remember the mic is the size of a pencil tip).

No-doubt though, because of the cost, any and all discounts are really needed. (It's not cheap, and some soul-searching needs to happen when spending almost $4k for it).

Great video!!! I love the PSE+X-pipe sound! From what I hear in the video, it sounds a little more deeper and louder than 997.2 with just PSE.
How is the noise when you drive? Is there any droning?

Yes...... sounds a tad deeper (which I liked).......zero drone at any speed......and like anything, the sound once driving is really nice. But I immediately noticed that deeper sound.
So the only thing I really can not compare with is the car with pure-stock PSE (although Suncoast has a video, but not sure if theirs is with car cold or warm).
One item I'd mention. I do notice that the XPipe is VERY close to the PSE where it exits the rear. (because the PSE has two exit pipes). On my right side the space at the "curve" is the thickness of a credit card.

Just went to listen to the Suncoast Porsche stock PSE video........sound totally different to me. (Especially with PSE off).

I have the PSE on my 09 C2S Cab. PSE adds deeper registers to the generally bass devoid DFI. You're video demonstrated that quite well. While he X-pipe may have added a little to the upper rpm sounds, the low end seemed unaffected to my ears. IMHO the X-pipe doesn't add substantially to the sound character of the PSE.

I'd agree............ As you said, in my video (the 4 part comparisons), the XPipe only changed the tone a bit, that was it. I'd say, at best, you'd not want to invest in the XPipe (of any kind) for some major (or medium) sound change. (For me it was a learning lesson at best...............although I do suspect there was a minor performance gain......minor)
I think (and I'd have to listen again)..... with PSE off, the Suncoast comparison and mine (w/XPIPE) there is a slight differece, and both with PSE (on), mine with XPipe has a slightly lower tone quality to it.
