Anyone have Recaro SPG XL's

I am 6-3 215lbs and I have a 34" waist. I have sat in the standard Evo and its pretty tight.

I like the Recaro SPG XL, looks to be about the same size as a Sparco EVO 2.

Curious if anyone that is tall has any experience. I am especially curious about the harness points and if they were high enough.

I have a buddy that has them in his 996GT3, he is bigger then you (height and weight wise) and he has no problem with fit. I would suggest that you find a shop in your area and try them, I think that although you are tall, you might be too thin for them. My buddy refers to them as Fat Boy track seats. Have you tried the 996GT3 seats? You should fit in those.

Tom N C4S NC is infamous around these parts
I have SPG XLs in a 996 GT3, and choose those because the harness holes were higher than other "fat boy" seats (see 1st repsone).

I am 6'3" and 240 pounds, and they fit well.

I did not mean to offend anyone, I am simply letting people know what he calls his seats.

Well hopefully GMG or another shop in my area will have a few samples. I have a buddy with an EVO 2 that I can try out already....

I am planning to sit in these very seats later this week to compare. I could use a little more "breathing room" in my RSA from what's currently in there.

Does PJ have these seats as well?

What seats are in your RSA? You should try out the 996GT3 seats that Nick just bought, they should fit you perfectly.

Yeah, he's got them and likes them a lot. I don't know exactly which model I have of the Recaros, but here is a pic (they were custom made for the prior owner - so he says):
