Hankook Tires
Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience going from PS2s to the Hankook Ventus. I don't know if it was because the PS2s on the rear were quite worn (at 11000 miles), but I absolutely love these Hankooks. I feel the ride is much more supple, braking is awesome, handling seems unchanged, and all this for a substantially lower price. My two front tires had about 3-5 k miles left in them. The quote to put on two new PS2s was around 1200.00 and I was guaranteed to need them every 9000-11000 miles. So, I decided to scrap the two fronts and put on four new Hankooks for a shade over 1000.00. So far, not disappointed and very happy with my decision!

and I probably could have gotten it done for a couple hundred cheaper if I had purchased them from tire racks. I couldnt recommend them in any stronger terms- really great so far.

good to hear about Hankook -
Had an issue with Michellin PS2's on the Ferrari - OK heavy car and I like to drive it the way it was intended - but that aside, they exhibited signs of weak walls and roll-off at extremes, and thinking I had some bad ones, I rebalanced them regularly every 300 miles (because they NEEDED it) until someone taught me about tire-dating - NO, they aren't that cute, not that kind of dating. I mean how old they are . . . Tire Rack stepped up where Michellin would not and gave me my money back when we discovered they had sold me tires a few weeks shy of 3 years old - BE CAREFUL, buy only new tires! Then Tire Rack helped me buy Good Year F-1 GS, less than 3 months old, and they are terrific for this car on the stock rims. Thank you Tire Rack Tech Support.
Now I'm looking to replace my old and worn out Pirrelli Rosso-Corsa's (wouldn't buy these again, either . . .) on my alternate oversized HRE rims for the same car . . . Might look at Hankook . . .

Got 'em on my 997S and absolutely love them. Have about 750 miles on them and I am very impressed. They feel very much like the PS2 on my stockers....just quieter. I got mine delivered for just under $800 back in August.

Farnbacher Racing (not Loles) from Germany use them.
