Has anyone on the forum insalled the new Fabspeed Primary Muffler Bypass X-Pipe? (My previous 04' C4S with PSE......loved that particular sound).

I now have a 09' 997.2 and (believe it or not) was thinking of adding PSE but heard a soundclip from Fabspeed with this and the sound was decent. (Not to mention $795 vs $2500++).

Any comments on the sound? (Also I do not want a drone, and something not to obnoxious at in-town or low rpm cruise speed).

I installed the the Fabspeed X-pipe on my 09 4S and it did change the sound quite nicely. No drone, no resonance at all. Made it sound a little meaner and more raw with a slight gargle. I cannot make a new sound clip because I added the Cargraphic mufflers to it but I do have a previous low quality video clip that I can email you. PM your email. Thanks,

Hi KaamaCat, it will be a nice improvement over the stock setup and increase horsepower with a nice increase in the exhaust note. PM if you have any questions and I will do a member discount for you on the X Pipe.

We have imported the X-pipe & Maxlo muffler (loud) to Belgium for our 997.2
And I have to say: It sounds amazing, nice growling and aggresive.. but not to loud . You can compare the sound to 997.1 with PSE .
