I think I just bought a car :-0
Just test drove and am having the PPI and DME pulled as we speak.
I actually just came from the dealer where we met and I talked to the service guy who's cared for the car since new.
06' s coupe 30k miles with Chrono.
There are a couple of issues I want to run by you guys.
The owner said that when cold the gearbox was a little stiff going into 4th and since it was under warranty still he brought it in and the replaced it. He said once the car warmed up it was fine but might as well have it done since it was under warranty.
The service rep had run an inspection and gone over the car un-officially due to the repairs and he said there was a single digit incident in range 3. He said it looked like a fraction of a second missed shift.
He said they honor the warranty up until range 4 unless there is a failure immediately after the infraction.
I paid them to run an official PPI & DME and right on the report that as of that inspection with those results the warranty is still good.

Your post says they replaced it. I assume the car is still under warranty so I wouldn't be concerned about that either.

Hopefully congrats are in order and that you've picked up your new ride. I remember when you first posted here looking for a car and I'm glad to see that you might have found one. Remember to post up pics.

Thanks Guys.... haven't picked it up[ yet but I'm so excited / nervous that I'm on the verge of hurling. I've waited many years for this moment. I grew up around VW's and my uncle, a single pro photographer, always drove a porsche with a model in the front seat and I've always admired his style :-)
