I've got the Gateway 500 for iPod, and it's got the latest firmware (2.18). I have the BTA1500 installed, but it's doing some odd things:

-Each time i get in the car with my blackberry, the # of contacts synched from my phonebook is different. Sometimes it's 30 contacts, sometimes it's 80, and sometimes it's 160. Why might this be? What is the max number of contacts or individual numbers it can store?

-I can dial from my cellphone, and the BT works, radio mutes, and audio is good. But I cannot dial from my PCM successfully. Obviously the phone and BTA are connecting and synching to some degree, but seems something is incomplete. Any insights?

-People say that they can barely hear me, even when i am parked. is the mic absolute garbage, or is there something I'm missing? they can hear me when I hold the mic to my mouth, but mounted to the visor over my head, they can't hear me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same issue with the mic on my BTA. Am interested if anyone has a solution.

Frankly, I think I am going to write up a complete USER GUIDE for this and the Gateway 500, as there is no such comprehensive and helpful document out there. If I am wrong, I'd love a link.
