They're finally here!
after a long long wait (see other thread)... i finally got my new wheels on my car! they look great and are exactly what i envisioned them to be... first saw this wheel years ago (much before i got my 997) and have been wanting them since!
despite the delay and confusion during production, thanks to chris, allan, guy and all others at HRE that helped make this right. i'm glad to hear this delay was one off and you guys are gunning for better turnaround times.
and a BIG THANKS to ALEX & DAN at SHARKWERKS! outstanding service, followup, and by far one of the most knowledgeable/professional/friendly retailers online. for anyone looking for goodies for your porsche, they are a MUST CALL. over the whole process dan kept me up to date on developments, gave me multiple options, and was super responsive! Easily one of the best deals i've had with a retailler! THANKS!
anyways, heres a pic of my new wheels... (might not be the most unique combo, but they sure look great on a 997!)

By the way I like the avatar. I was going to do the same thing when my cab reached '911' miles, but I forgot to take the picture I was on the hwy breaking her in anyway when that happened. Needless to say the 911th mile was fun indeed.

finally got out for our first photo shoot (my wife is a photographer)....
here's a sample of what we got... had to cut it short as it started to rain too (as you might see in the water beads)...
enjoy!
and g911cab... the pic was completely coincidental... ended up in my garage one day and realized i had exactly the 911 on the speedo... so i snapped one! but thanks, indeed its a special mile...
