I also had the Techart springs on my Turbo and liked them . I switched to damptronics and there is a great difference . The labor hours to do either is nearly the same and it does take time . The parts themselves have a price gap but in his case if he wants to adjust the ride height the Bilsteins make that possible plus the corner handling contrast between the springs Vs coil overs is different . With the springs I felt that the tires absorbed more of the lateral force wheras the damptronics suspension shares in the process by absorbing some of it.
I like both .. and if springs are the 1st choice he woiuld be very happy with Techart . I do have a picture of the spring side by side with the coil over if it helps as well as a few from the installation.

Larry's dead on with this. I went back and forth on both choices and in the end, knowing that I'd never track the car, a drop of 15mm was going to be exactly what I wanted, hearing good things about the TechArt springs from lots of experts (including Alex over at Sharkwerks), and figuring on saving about $2.5k, I went springs.

Great pictures and great looking car. Glad to see your tree's still have some leaves on them as they are all down here in the Northwest.
FWIW, I did drop my car with TechArt springs and they have been perfect. Absolutely no problems with the PASM on my car at all, drop of 15mm (looks perfect), and seems to have sharpened up the handling just a bit. I don't track my car and thats why I went springs rather than C/O's and even with my GT3 front bumper, really don't scrap the front much at all (and even when I have, it's a cheap lower lip that is easy to change out). I'd say go for it.

Joe,
Ok, so you did just the springs with the PASM? Does it still operate? Cost of material and install please. I think Stacy did the same thing but disconnected the PASM.
Thank You in advance
Jim

Nice. Was on the Saw Mill today on my way to Taconic to open her up. The last 3/4 rear shot's my fav. Best view of any 911. Well done.

Yes, PASM still operates as before I installed the springs (I'd be interested to hear Stacy chime in here on why he disconnected the PASM on his car). Cost of the springs are a little on the high side compared to H&R and Eibach as they retail for around $700. However, check with who you may have do the install as they might be able to get a better price. Install as Larry points out is about the same for springs as C/O's. Hope that helps.
