Matching iPod and Sat volume

When switching between my iPod and the Sat radio the iPod volume is significantly lower. Does anyone know how to match the gain between the two? I have tried turning up the volume on the Nano before plugging it in but does not rectify the problem. Thanks.

Turning up the volume on your iPod nano won't make any difference, because the iPod is connected thru its line output.

Are you referring to a 997.2 car, or a 997.1 with Dension?

When you select the input you want to use press the audio button and then the set button on your PCM console. The same place you have the bass and trebble adjustments. I believe there is a input matching option there where you can adjust the volume.

I may be wrong but I'm prettier sure there is atleast one for radio vs cd.

Yes, I installed one a few months ago. I use it primarily as an Aux input for my portable XM radio. I can also use the iPod, but seldom do. The sound quality through the Dension/PCM is much better than the XM's FM connection was.
