Install options at Porsche?

I've been looking for a 997 S or 4S for a couple months now. Everytime I find one with the right amount of miles, good color combo, and decent price, it's always missing sports chrono or Bose, etc. I was wondering if options like sports chrono can be installed at the dealership.

A 997 S for mid $40ks? I don't think they've gone that low just yet.

I guess I mean around 46-47k. I've found several around 49 that I might be able to get for 47 but as I posted befored, they're missing an option or two that I'm looking for :/

Sports Chrono is not an addon option from the dealer. If that is your criteria then you should locate a car that you want. There are other options available to provide some of the features that SC offers.

As someone with Sport Chrono let me just tell you it isn't all that useful in a non-Turbo 997.1

It's useless as a lap timer and the dash wart is unsightly.

hmm...I guess to me it just seems nice to at least have the option since for used cars, options like that don't seem to affect the difference in price much.

Other than the additional PCM control - it's useless. If you can get it without paying a premium and you like it by all means go for it.

I wouldn't pass on an otherwise perfect car for lack of SC though. It's not like full leather or other more desirable options IMO.
