good price of a low mile 06 s cab?

I'm just started looking around for an 06 s cab. I currently have a 928S4 as my daily driven and I'm looking to switch to something more modern.
I've test driven a couple 4s cabs and they seem alittle heavier in the front and not as spry as the one s cab I tested. I'm in Houston which means no snow (except for last Friday) and I don't have to drive the car in the pouring rain. I also like to do some mild tail sliding, so I'm thinking a s cab is a better way to go and it's also cheaper. I test drove a tiptronic and it was a real turnoff. I like the new nissan 370z autotransmission alot better than the tiptronic. I'm sure the pdk is better, but I don't want to spend a hundred grand on a car.

The porsche dealer prices seem mostly nuts.
Is it possible to get a reasonably well equiped 06 s cab with say under 20k miles for the low 50"s. I've looked at ebay, autotrader and some other places and I don't see much under mid to high 50's.

thanks

Yes - you should be able to pick one up in low $50s depending on the options the car has. I just bought a MINT 06 C2S Coupe for $53.5K (+$2K to get the CPO) and the car had 6K miles on it (MSRP of $99K). Also, just to give you an idea, the seller had the car list for $63K on autotrader. With winter around the corner I can only imagine that prices of cabs would stabilize or even go down.

CPO cars IMO are worth the extra $$. Don't rush your decision - the right car is waiting for you.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you end-up finding

Yes, you can do it for low 50s. Here's one at CarMax:

'06 S Cab, Silver/Tan, Sport Seats, Bose, no sport chrono

I think you can get a coupe in the low 50's but a mint condition cab will pull the mid to upper range . (55 -58K) . The used prices have increased and yes if you search hard you'll see all types of independent lot cars which look pretty but try and save 5 grand and you might end up spending 10 and get a huge headache.
