Should I invest in a PPI on a CPO 2005-6 C2?

So I'm looking around at some CPO C2's and wondering if I should invest $250 in a PPI. The only thing that I can think of that may not be warranty covered that they may catch is an abused clutch. Maybe I can just get a shop to inspect only the clutch, or would there be other things that should be looked at?

What do you guys think? I'm really trying to exercise patience and find the perfect 997, but my trigger finger is sooooo friggin ready to pull.

Thanks!

It's 250.00, and if it's a car you're very seriously considering, it's a small expense for some simple peace of mind. Getting a DME reading of the rev range is already worth it so that you can see how hard the previous owner drove the car.

Definitely- especially for a private party / multiple owner car. Full inspection + DME scan = peace of mind!

It's a must do inspection --this way you have facts to make an informed decision.

Ditto just to add my 2 bits worth. Peace of mind + you may pick up something like some missing parts, etc. If car has nav. make sure the DVD is in the unit. I got scammed on my recent purchase because I assumed.

Who did you have in mind Stacy? I wonder what a DME on your car would look like?
