Its really rough down here in south Florida. Sunny, 88 degrees, light breeze blowing the palm trees. Nice drive home from work with the top down and the Fabspeed pipes and K&N intake singing a nice song. Life is good. james

If a hurricane wasn't such a bad thing, you could show them how nice it is in Canada during that time...but that wouldn't be nice

LOL --I just got home from swimming. It's usually warm year round but today was almost like summer temps . 88 degrees is about 8 degrees higher than usual for December . One of my favorite drives is actually out to the beaches where driving is combined with the ocean breeze .

I saw that too. It woild be nice if one day some of you guys flew down --maybe a winter retreat. In some cases even the drive may not be too far. It's amazing how it gets cold quickly when travelling north. The roads are flat and it's not too scenic like the beautiful California drives but once in South Florida the weather and recreation is real nice.

I'll be doing the Florida "holiday loop" from Atlanta in 2 weeks. Atlanta - Ft Lauderdale - Orlando - Atlanta. Can't wait ... it's 29 degrees here right now!
Of course, the 9-10hr drive from ATL to FLL is boring as hell. Anyone have a recommendation other than the 75 to the FL Turnpike route I always take ... but a route that doesn't add hours to the drive??

Minus 24C last weekend, minus 21C forecast for this weekend. And it is still snowing. (Thats -6 and -12F for you Southern neighbors)
Three houses burnt to the ground two blocks from my house last weekend after the fire trucks got stuck in snowdrifts.
When is spring?
