number of Carreras sold in USA in 2009?

From other discussions, I gather that Porsche is trying to work down the inventory of unsold cars in the USA. Apparently they were quite traumatized (or at least embarrassed) by their having to offer discounts last fall.

Last summer there were many 911's on the market with very low miles. I am talking about 2007's, 2008's and 2009's with less than 3000 miles on them. Many had less than 1000 miles. In addition to sales on new cars being down, there were many folf who, apparrently, got into trouble and had to dump their cars. There were many privately for sale as well as cars the new car dealers had picked up from the auctions. This resulted in big discounts on the new cars. I was one of the luck ones. I was able to get a new 2008S for 23 % off the 2008 list price. I am sure there were similar discounts on the 2009's and 2010's. I believe that Porshce will now limit production for few years and then ramp up gain whwn global demand picks up. Also, I believe US will get decreasing % shares of the cars in the future as the prices here are relatively very low and, if the dollar continues its slide,......even lower.
