How do people feel about parking their 911 at work?

two college friends of mine, both in their 40's, both the smartest in their class:
--one is an M.D., surgical subspecilaist, making several hundred thousand dollar annual salary
--one is a Ph.D., (in political science)--struggling, can't find tenure track university jobs, just "adjunct" professoring, barely making 10K, no benefits, every job he applies for has like 200 applicants per position
that's one example of the randomness of free market forces....

awesome thread. this is one of the major reason why i'm still on the fence about getting a p-car. about a year ago i was looking at a 996 turbo - what are the odds that my boss happens to be across the street having lunch. monday came and the entire office was poking fun at me for LOOKING AT A PORSCHE during tough economic times. i cant even imagine pulling up on one.
