You may be correct. But I think these discussions help maintain a little perspective, as well as prevent too much inbreeding.

I'd much rather have these sorts of general discussions about various cars than see endless questions about what a fair price for a 997 is, or asking what color Porsche to buy for $100k. Many of us are interested in cars in general, and don't feel we have to continuously focus all of our attention on our beloved Porsches, no matter how much we like them. As I mentioned in earlier post, it helps to keep things in perspective. Without some perspective, we become fanatics.

not that i am a fan of domestic cars but things have changed since they were known for straight lines.

The Mustang is (esp. now with this new motor) an amazing value. It's got great power, handles and brakes well, and an amazing price point... but it's still relatively crude and once you get it off the track and use it on real world roads the limitations of that live axle (even with the track pack) become much more pronounced.
I'm not a Mustang hater but I think a little perspective is in order.
