Titanium Lugs on Diamond Black BBS RS-GT's

I finally figured out what wheels I wanted for my car and acquired a set of used Diamond Black BBS RS-GT's from a fellow 6speedonline member. I never gave the stock wheel lugs a second thought until I put these wheels on. The wheels are gorgeous and Diamond Black, being really a dark silver, compliments the silver body. Unfortunately the stock lugs looked like crap. I was on the fence about buying lug nut caps or stainless steel but finally settled on titanium, despite the price premium. Put them on today and couldn't be happier with the result. Titanium and "Diamond Black" are a perfect match and defininetly better than stock. Pics...

They do look good, but for the cost I could probably find a better way to spend the money. As long as your happy with them though. Show us some full body shots with the new wheels too!

I haven't seen you around NOVA yet either. Planning on doing any track days in 2010?

I actually signed up for two events this year but had to cancel each time. I really hope to work on the DME between my ears this next year and find the time to get it on the track.

Are you a member of PCA. I'm planning on doing two or three of their events throughout the year and then a bunch of FATT's up at Summit. If your looking to sign up for any of those let me know. I could use a track buddy

Where in NOVA are you located?

A titanium bolt mated to an aluminum wheel may result in a galvanic couple. There are coatings available to minimize/eliminate this problem.

I had RSGT's on my M3. One of the finest wheels made. Coming from BMW, I'm really amazed by the stock lug nuts actually. The little fitting piece in them and the free factory locking lug. Post some shots of the car with them on. I might get tempted to buy another set for this car!
