Dension 500 Bluetooth help!

I have just finished installing my Dension 500 Gateway into my 997. The problem I am having is that I can't find anywhere to run the microphone into the ****pit of my car. I have pull the plastic out of the trunk, shined a flashlight in every nook and cranny but I can't find a hole that leads into the car. I have to be missing something. Anyone have advice that has installed this system? Thanks for the help!

Get a flashlight and look above pedals in the cabin. Look at solid metal rod with torx style edges that goes down from steering column. 4-5 inches to the left from it and slightly above there is another metal part coming into cabin with rubber gasket around it. In my car dealership mechanic made a little hole in that gasket and mic cord enters right there from trunk space.

Look for a rubber grommets near the battery, may need to remove battery. When you find a good place to run your wire through use some safety wire or something similar to fish your microphone wire through with. Hope that helps.

In the front boot:
-Unplug the car's battery.
-Remove the bolt and bracket from the left side of the battery, which holds it in place.
-Slide the battery to the left.
-You should now see a round rubber grommet.
-Feed the foam end of the microphone through that rubber grommet.

Now inside the car:
-Raise the steering wheel.
-Look up, behind the pedals.
-You should see the foam end of the microphone wire.

From here, you have several choices in terms of routing and placing the mic.
